Being a physical energy trader, Almina is subject to oversight from many regulatory authorities worldwide. Virtually every aspect of our business is affected to a greater or lesser degree by regulations covering health and safety, insurance, emission and environmental control, product, cargo and financial crime, international trade and sanctions, and banking, exchange and derivatives market rules.

A thorough commercial and financial understanding of our counterparties enables Almina to better serve our clients while controlling our risk and adhering to our anti-bribery, anti-corruption and anti-money laundering policies. Under our KYC procedures, Almina’s compliance team conducts due diligence for each new counterparty. Completion of KYC is mandatory prior to entering into any new contractual agreements with any counterparty.
